What is SkoolPAL Bookings?
SkoolPAL Bookings is an add-on for the SkoolPAL registration system (https://www.skoolpal.com.au). SkoolPAL Bookings will make school appointment bookings easy with it’s simplest process.
What is SkoolPAL?
SkoolPAL is a fully featured student registration system providing schools to make their student enrolments and renewals online. SkoolPAL has many other features and continuously working on improving and adding new features while growing.
Currently, it supports:
- Student registrations,
- Annual registration renewals,
- Basic reports and
- related support functions such as create classes, assign students to classes, assign teachers to classes, add school rosters to registration and add donations or membership payments to registration etc.
We are currently working on:
- Improving existing features,
- Introducing Apple and Android mobile apps,
- New features such as online check-in / check-out, in-class attendance and student identification card generation etc.
Is there any cost for me?
It depends.
If you are a teacher and you are looking to start using SkoolPAL Bookings in your school, please check the “For Teachers” section of our FAQ.
If you are a parent, no, login to the SkoolPAL Bookings is FREE and your school will decide whether they are going to charge you for the bookings or not. There can be FREE bookings as well as bookings which will charge you based on the type of the booking.
Can I use SkoolPAL Bookings in my school?
Yes of course, if you are using SkoolPAL student registration system or if you wish to start with SkoolPAL student registration system, you can start using the Bookings add-on easily. SkoolPAL Bookings add-on is coming as a separate subscription and you can subscribe to it here.
We are working on providing SkoolPAL Bookings as a standalone application, so that any school will be able to use SkoolPAL Bookings for their appointment bookings even though they are not using SkoolPAL registration system.
How much doest it cost?
There are packages based on the subscription length (monthly or annually) and number of students in your school. Please check the simple subscription prices available here for more details.
Why does it say "Please log in first to proceed with booking...", when I'm on "Book Appointments" page?
That’s because you haven’t logged into the system. In order to proceed with validation and bookings, you need to login to the system using your SkoolPAL account email or external account (Facebook / Google) associated with that email first.
It's not asking the SkoolPAL password, why?
SkoolPAL Bookings is using passwordless login mechanism. You have options to login with “Facebook”, “Google” or just “Email” with a verification code sent to the email. But the provided or associated email with selected external account should be similar to the email you have provided when creating the SkoolPAL account. System will validate your SkoolPAL account and student details against this email when you continue to do a booking.
Why does it say "Sorry, our system doesn't show any related student records registered with your email.", when I'm on "Book Appointments" page?
That means system was unable to validate your email against any SkoolPAL accounts and/or associated student profiles under it. Please double check whether you’ve used the correct email or external account (Facebook / Google) associated with correct email first. If you think this should be a bug, feel free to contact support@skoolpal.com.au for further assistance.
Why does it say "No time slots available yet for ...", when I'm on "Book Appointments" page?
That means your schools has not created an availability calendar for this appointment yet. Please contact your school teacher to confirm or wait until you receive a notification form school to start booking appointments, if you haven’t received any yet.
Why does it showing empty calendar (disabled calendar) after I click on "Book time for ...", on "Book Appointments" page?
This is because your appointment has a calendar, but it’s not open for bookings yet or teacher has not added the availability or disabled the available time slots for some reason. Please contact your school teacher to confirm or wait until you receive a notification form school to start booking appointments, if you haven’t received any yet.
